Today after breakfast we depart for the city tour which includes visit to the famous MCG (Melbourne cricketground). After lunch, we visit the Philip Island – lies just off Australia’s southern coast. Early in the morning check out and proceed to the airport for our flight to Cairns. On arrival we are transferred to theSky rail terminal to Kuranda . You’ll glide just meters above the rainforest canopy before descending through thecanopy layers and deep into the heart of the forest at Sky rail’s two rainforest mid stations for the ultimate tropicalrainforest experience. Early morning we depart for Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Green Island is a Marine National Park, a coral cay 27 km’soffshore from Cairns and located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park World Heritage Area. The island issurrounded by coral reef. This morning, we proceed on an orientation tour of the city. We then visit the Sydney Opera House, a UNESCO WorldHeritage Site and one of the world’s most iconic landmarks with a unique shape. Spendsome time at the Darling Harbor, which is a splendid waterside location at the heart of Sydney, reserved only forpedestrians. This morning explores the Southern Alps aboard the TranzAlpine train – one of the world’s great train journeys. Enjoyyour train journey till the alpine village of Arthurs Pass. Then board your coach and continue on your scenic journeyto Greymouth. After lunch, continue your travel south along the scenic west coast as you reach the glacier (B, L, D)
After breakfast we check out and travel down the west coast to the South Island city of Queenstown. We drive pastspectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the Haast Pass gateway to the world heritage WestlandNational Park. Continue around the shores of lake Hawea to reach Wanaka. Today drive through the west coast of the South Island to reach Milford Sound, also known as Piopiotahi. You will beamazed by the sheer beauty with its fiord’s cliffs, mountainous peaks. Cascading waterfalls and jaw–dropping views.On arrival board the scenic cruise. This morning takes a scenic ride in the iconic Skyline Gondola and take in the stunning views as you ride the steepestcable car lift in the Southern Hemisphere. You’ll be carried 480 metres above Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu to thetop of Bob’s Peak, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular 220–degree panorama with breath– taking views of CoronetPeak, The Remarkables, Walter and Cecil Peak and Queenstown. Early morning checks out and proceeds to the airport for our flight to Auckland. On arrival, drive to Waitomo to visitthe famous Glowworm Cave. On arrival, take a boat ride under thousands of magical glowworms and become a partof over 125 years of cultural and natural history. After breakfast we visit the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep / dog demonstrations, cowmilking and an introduction to the sheep industry.
